  3. Google how to SSH, it's not hard.

    Install OpenSSH and then use Filezilla to connect.

    By the way iTicker needs updating for firmware v3.0 as the little search icon is still visible under the text.

  5. Hello,

    For some reason when i ssh into my iphone and go to the root folder/library I see the folder themes. But as soon as I click on it, in order to be able to change the rss feed, it dissapears. Could anyone share some light into this?

  7. For the past couple of days, ive been having problems getting this to show, it keeps showing 'Retrieving RSS feed(s)', have you modified your rss feed in the original file? It was working great for the past 2 months wow i love this please keep it compatible for 2.2x as well if you go to 3.0 - some people havent upgraded to 3.0 yet!! I didnt customize the feed either, Ive been using your original rss feed for the sports!! I love it! Whats wrong right now?

  8. OK i see, it seems like when there is NO GAME or ANY SCORE for any of the four pro sports on the current day, then the default is what happend. the little blue question mark square and the message 'Retrieving RSS feed(s)' will display- nothing is wrong, theres just no score or game on! duh! i wish it would cycle news display too, but thanks for this great piece.

  9. hi;
    the rss feeds change every second to the next theme, is their anyway to get it to stay for like 5 seconds?

    and is their anyway to show 2 feed, one under the other?

  11. the default should be set to a 5 second refresh rate, I talk about setting the time in an earlier comment. the only way i would know of having 2 feeds show would be to make a duplicate folder of itciker and name it like iticker2 or something and then change the feed to whatever source you want and make sure to position it so that it doesnt cover the other feed. see if that works hope this helps!

  13. If you want you headlines to display longer, you have to edit the gajaxticker.js file located at /var/stash/themes/iticker/. SSH INTO THAT FOLDER and open gajaxticker.js with wordpad or notepad and look for the following: "this.delay=parseInt {delay}" without the quotes. Immediately after that pu a space then an asterix(*) then another space and a number so it reads like this: "this.delay=parseInt {delay} * n " where n*4= the number of seconds you want it to display. If you put 2 in the place of "n" it will display for 8 seconds. I have found that 8 seconds is just long enough to read the longest headlines from my feed. I hope this helps some people who are having trouble with the feed switching too fast.
